CSTC and Hudong-zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. get order for 3 LNG ships
On June 30th, 2020, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC), Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., Petrochina International Co., Ltd., COSCO Shanghai LNG Investment Co., Ltd. and COSCO Oil Transportation Co., Ltd. held a video on-line contract-signing ceremony for building and chartering of three 174,000 m3LNG carriers. Mr. Sun Wei, Vice President of CSSC, Mr. Sun Yunfei, Vice President of COSCO, Mr. Tian Jinghui, Vice President of Petrochina Co., Ltd. and Executive Director of Petrochina International Co., Ltd., Mr. Li Hongtao, Chairman of CSTC, and Mr. Chen Jianliang, Chairman of Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. attended the ceremony and witnessed the contracts-signing.

On June 24th, 2020，CSTC and GSI successfully delivered to FPMC one 48,800 tons Chemical/Product oil tanker. Representatives of the above-mentioned parties signed the delivery documents.

On April 22, China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) and Qatar Petroleum signed online an agreement for the construction of LNG carriers, which is the first batch of order under Qatar’s LNG carrier fleet program, amounting over 20 billion Chinese Yuan (about 2.82 billion U.S. Dollars), a record export value for China's shipbuilding industry.
