CSTC&GSI Successfully Delivered One ROPAX to ENTMV of Algeria

On 15th July, China Shipbuilding Trading Co.,Ltd.(CSTC) and Guangzhou Shipyard International(GSI), both subsidiaries of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) , as the joint seller, successfully delivered one 1800-passenger and 600 -car ROPAX to Algeria's National Shipping Company (ENTMV).
The contract was signed in Alger, the capital of Algeria, on 11th March, 2018. The Minister of Transportation of Algeria witnessed the signing ceremony. The ship’s main particulars includes: length of 199.9m, moulded width of 30m, design draft of 6.7m, speed of more than 24 knots, and can carry 1800 passengers. It meets the latest requirements for Safety Return to Port and Tier III emission requirements. The ship has more than 500 cabins, including 2 exclusive sea-view presidential suites, 4 VIP suites,8 luxury suites. The design is integrated with Algerian elements, and the luxury level is comparable to that of luxury cruise ships. The operation route crosses the Mediterranean, from Alger, the capital of Algeria, to Marseille, France, or to Barcelona, Spain and other southern European ports. It is a ship integrating features of environmental protection, greenness, energy conservation, luxury and comfort.
The successful delivery of the ship is an excellent symbol of China & Algeria cooperation in the field of maritime transportation, and a solid foundation for further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

CSSC Beihai Shipbuilding Hits Suezmax Milestone
Recently, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (QBS) have inked a contract with a renowned Greek owner for the construction of one Suezmax tanker. This latest deal brings the total number of QBS’s Suezmax orders to three, marking the significant entry of the shipyard into this key ship type newbuilding segment.
