CSTC and Chengxi Shipyard delivered One 62,000 DWT vessel

On 6th December 2021, one 62,000 DWT Heavy-Lift Multi-Purpose Vessel “TAI XING” was delivered to Bank of Communications Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (BOCOMM) by CSTC and Chengxi Shipyard. Representatives of all parties signed the delivery documents and guests from Chipolbrok attended the delivery ceremony.

With overall length of 199.90m, breadth of 32.26m, design draft of 11.3m and service speed of 14.4knots, TAI XING is the first vessel of four 62,000 DWT heavy-lift multi-purpose vessels project. The vessel is environmental-friendly and meets the requirments of EEDI Phase Ⅲ, NOx Tier Ⅲ and latest SOx emission requirements.
Shipyard of CSSC have built more than 50 vessels for BOCOMM and the amount exceeds RMB 20 billion. TAI XING will be managed by Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company (Chipolbrok), which was the first joint venture in China and its liners reach all major global harbors.
Though the project was signed and constructed during the COVID-19 pandemic, CSTC, Chengxi Shipyard and BOCOMM work together to overcome the difficulties and ensure the successful delivery.

CSSC Beihai Shipbuilding Hits Suezmax Milestone
Recently, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (QBS) have inked a contract with a renowned Greek owner for the construction of one Suezmax tanker. This latest deal brings the total number of QBS’s Suezmax orders to three, marking the significant entry of the shipyard into this key ship type newbuilding segment.

On January 16, 2026, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and CSSC Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (DSIC) signed shipbuilding contracts with a renowned European shipowner for 2 firm plus 2 option units of 114,000 DWT product tankers, marking CSSC’s first product tanker order in 2026.
