Information

On December 9th, CSTC and Guangzhou Shipyard International Co., Ltd (GSI), two subsidiaries of CSSC, successfully delivered a 4000 Lane Meters RO-PAX Vessel named “AURA SEAWAYS”. Representatives from all parties signed the delivery documents in Guangzhou.

The concept design of AURA SEAWAYS is done by Delta Marin. It has been constructed according to  the latest environmental protection standards with 1C Ice Class rating. After the delivery, the Vessel will be put into service on the Baltic Sea routes.

During the construction, using new technology of accommodation module and introducing professional general contractor manufacturers have remarkably improved the production efficiency. Meanwhile, the cost has been reduced by using domestic materials instead for interior decoration.

The smooth delivery of the Vessel is a model of CSTC and GSI working together actively to overcome the adverse effects of delay caused by design company as well as COVID-19. The delivery also lays a solid foundation for GSI to fulfill the delivery schedule and will speed up the delivery ofthe subsequent sister vessels.
