One 15000 TEU container vessel delivered to CMA CGM

On June 29th 2022, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (“CSTC”) and Jiangnan Shipyard (Group)CO.,LTD., (Jiangnan Shipyard) successfully delivered a 15,000 TEU container vessel “CMA CGM GALAPAGOS” to ICBC Leasing and CMA CGM in Shanghai.
“CMA CGM GALAPAGOS” is the fourth of five LNG-powered 15,000 TEU container vessels ordered by CMA CGM. This project was signed on the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, which is one of the important cooperation achievements between CMA CGM and CSSC.
The successful delivery of “CMA CGM GALAPAGOS” further improved Jiangnan Shipyard's market share in the large container vessel newbuilding field. It aslo strengthens the friendship and relationship between CSTC, Jiangnan Shipyard, and CMA CGM.
