On April 20, 2026, HANNOVER MESSE 2026, the world’s largest international trade fair for industrial technology and a premier platform for industrial design, manufacturing, application, and trade, opened in Hanover, Germany. Mr. Zhao Tongbin, Vice President of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC), attended the event and participated in a series of business visits. CSSC Beihai Shipbuilding Hits Suezmax Milestone

Recently, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (QBS) have inked a contract with a renowned Greek owner for the construction of one Suezmax tanker. This latest deal brings the total number of QBS’s Suezmax orders to three, marking the significant entry of the shipyard into this key ship type newbuilding segment.
