An European Owner Orders Four 1,900 TEU Container Vessels

On 21st day of April, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd (CSTC) and Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd (HPWS), both subsidiaries of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited. (CSSC), signed newbuilding contract of four 1,900 TEU container vessels with European owner Briese Schiffahrt through online meeting.
The design is from HPWS, having better technological performance and higher efficiency. This year, HPWS has achieved several contracts of 1,900 TEU container vessels. This contract will help HPWS to seize more market share in the future.
This is the first cooperation between CSSC Group and Briese Group. Briese Group is the world third-largest company in(全称) MPP market, and is reputed for its moderate operation style. Briese would like to expand its fleet of container vessels.
Project teams of CSTC and HPWS have enjoyed seamless cooperation during this fast-pace negotiation, and look forward to further cooperation.

Recently, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (QBS) have inked a contract with a renowned Greek owner for the construction of one Suezmax tanker. This latest deal brings the total number of QBS’s Suezmax orders to three, marking the significant entry of the shipyard into this key ship type newbuilding segment.
