CSTC delivered the first 3600CEU dual fuel PCTC to UECC

On November 26th, CSTC and Jiangnan Shipyard, two subsidiaries of CSSC, delivered the first 3600 CEU dual fuel PCTC "AUTO ADVANCE" to the Norwegian ship owner UECC. Representatives of all parties signed the delivery documents. Mr. Glenn Edvardsen, the CEO of UECC，expressed his gratitude online to everyone involved in this project for their hard work.
AUTO ADVANCE is the first of three sister vessels contracted in 2019, which are developed and designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute(SDARI) in the same size of 169m in length, 28m in width. They are registered under the flag of Mar and classified by DNV GL, meeting the requirements of Tier III emission standards of IMO.
AUTO ADVANCE is the first LNG powered battery hybrid solution PCTC with advanced EMS system in the world which can effectively improve energy efficiency and reduce emission. With all these innovative green technologies, AUTO ADVANCE makes herself a benchmark vessel in the low carbon emission PCTC sector.
During the construction of AUTO ADVANCE, all parties had contract-cooperation and mutual trust to overcome the logistical challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which ensured the smooth delivery of the vessel. The successful delivery of AUTO ADVANCE will promote the brand of CSTC and Jiangnan Shipyard in PCTC market, which provided a sound basis for realizing the high-quality development strategy and building a world-class shipbuilding group in all respects.

CSSC Beihai Shipbuilding Hits Suezmax Milestone
Recently, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (QBS) have inked a contract with a renowned Greek owner for the construction of one Suezmax tanker. This latest deal brings the total number of QBS’s Suezmax orders to three, marking the significant entry of the shipyard into this key ship type newbuilding segment.

CSSC Wins First Annual Product Tankers Order from European Shipowner
On January 16, 2026, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and CSSC Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (DSIC) signed shipbuilding contracts with a renowned European shipowner for 2 firm plus 2 option units of 114,000 DWT product tankers, marking CSSC’s first product tanker order in 2026.
