2022 CSSC Global Partnership Conference was held in Shanghai

On January 13^th 2022，the second CSSC online Global Partners Conference was held in Shanghai. During the webinar conference, Mr. Yang Jincheng，President of CSSC delivered a keynote speech, Mr. Sun Wei, Vice President of CSSC delivered a welcome speech. Representatives from the world-famous shipbroker companies and other partners attended the conference, analysis and discuss the trend of 2022 global shipbuilding and offshore market development, and the future development direction of China shipbuilding industry.

Per Mr. Yang Jincheng’s keynote speech, the past year of 2021, with the full support and assistant of global partners, CSSC closely followed the market pulse, innovated the management mechanism, strengthened risk control, accelerated the transformation and upgrading of products, achieved the world's first good performance in three indicators of newbuilding orders, deliver capacity and orderbook. Since the reorganization was founded in November 2019, CSSC focus on the strategic goal of " rationalization of industrial structure, leading quality and efficiency, strong international competitiveness of world-class shipbuilding group", depending on the communicated platform of Global Partners Conference which covered the market demand, adhere to the business philosophy of "customer-centered, market-oriented, technology-led, innovation-driven", conform to the industry development trend, comprehensive build the whole life cycle and the whole industry chain system from ship design, business consulting, financing services, ship construction, equipment until to ship repairing and retrofitting.

Mr. Yang Jincheng stressed that in December last year, CSSC Group headquarters was officially located in Shanghai, which is not only an important measure for the group company to serve the national strategy, but also a new starting point for the deep integrated development with the world shipping companies and global partners. Firstly, we should practice hard on our internal skills, take innovation as the inexhaustible driving force for development, continue to improve the competitiveness of the shipbuilding business, and build an independent brand of "CSSC"; Secondly is to strengthen coordination, play integration advantages of resources, further enhance the comprehensive strength of the whole industrial chain of CSSC, continue to enhance the key role of the business platform of CSTC, to form a good situation of integrity within CSSC on shipbuilding business; Thirdly is we should strengthen cooperation, strengthen marketing and global brand promotion, and work together with global partners to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Mr. Sun Wei addressed a welcome speech, CSSC aim to become a world-class ship industry group with high quality development, to further enhance communication with global partners, jointly expand the development route of China shipbuilding industry, jointly draw up the blueprint for China shipbuilding industry development, jointly promote the vigorous development of global marine economy, and write a new chapter of cooperation.  

During the meeting, CSTC addressed a presentation on market hotspot prediction. SDARI and MARIC introduced their latest new designs of GREEN and Duel Fuel population vessels. WinGD introduced the latest research and development of main engine.

Representatives of global partners held extensive and heated discussions on hotspot topics such as the development trend of shipbuilding and offshore industry market in 2022, ship type development trend under the background of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, intelligent and digital development prospect of shipping industry, and put forward suggestions for the future development of CSSC.
