Signing a contract for two 7000TEU container vessels

CSTC and SHANGHAI WAIGAOQIAO SHIPBUILDING COMPANY LIMITED（SWS），two subsidiaries of CSSC, recently signed a contract online with Sea Consortium for two 7000TEU container vessels.
With a total length of 272.5meters, width of 47.8meters and draft of 14.55meters, the vessel is designed by SDARI and has the advantage of energy-saving and environment-friendly meeting the requirement of EEDI III .
The signing of the contract for two more vessels help total orders for Sea Consortium reach twelve which had signed ten of the same 7000TEU container vessels with CSTC and SWS last year，and further improve CSTC/SWS's influence and competitiveness in container vessel market.

Recently, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (QBS) have inked a contract with a renowned Greek owner for the construction of one Suezmax tanker. This latest deal brings the total number of QBS’s Suezmax orders to three, marking the significant entry of the shipyard into this key ship type newbuilding segment.
