One 115000 DWT Crude Oil/Product Tanker “MAERSK STINA” delivered

CSTC and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd (DSIC), two subsidiaries of CSSC, jointly delivered a 115,000DWT Crude Oil/Product Tanker MAERSK STINA to Maersk Tankers Singapore Pte. Ltd. on March 1, 2022. MAERSK STINA is the ninth in a series of ten vessels built for Maersk by DSIC. Representatives of all parties attended the delivery ceremony and signed the delivery documents online.
MAERSK STINA is 250.0m in length overall, 44.0m in breadth and 21.9m in depth moulded. With a matching design on hull, main engine and propeller, and equipped with energy-saving Duct, the efficiency of the propulsion system has been remarkably improved. Moreover, the reasonable layout and structural design make the vessel excellent in vibration and noise control. This series of vessels is a new generation of crude oil/product tankers with outstanding energy-saving and load performance.
During the construction, all parties cooperated to strictly control and continuously improve the construction quality. Several specific construction periods are among the shortest of series vessels, and the result of trial is also among the best. The smooth delivery of MAERSK STINA lays a solid foundation for its subsequent sister vessel.

On April 20, 2026, HANNOVER MESSE 2026, the world’s largest international trade fair for industrial technology and a premier platform for industrial design, manufacturing, application, and trade, opened in Hanover, Germany. CSSC Beihai Shipbuilding Hits Suezmax Milestone
Recently, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (QBS) have inked a contract with a renowned Greek owner for the construction of one Suezmax tanker. This latest deal brings the total number of QBS’s Suezmax orders to three, marking the significant entry of the shipyard into this key ship type newbuilding segment.
