One 1900TEU container vessel delivered

On April 8, China Shipbuilding Trading Co.,Ltd.(CSTC) and Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Co.,Ltd.(HPWS), two subsidiaries of CSSC, smoothly delivered one 1900TEU container vessel named ‘TS NAGOYA’ to T.S. Lines Co., Ltd. (TS LINES) in Guangzhou. Mr. Luo Bing, president of HPWS, Mr. Tu Honglin, president of TS LINES, and CSTC representatives attended the　‘Cloud Delivery’ ceremony spanning Guangzhou, Taipei and Shanghai.

With 172m length, 27.5m width, 14.6m depth, and 8.5m design draft, the vessel complies with all the requirements of EEDI III, since it is equipped with desulphurization device regarded as energy-efficient and environment-friendly.

With the experience of many generations of feeder container vessel, this type of 1900TEU vessel was made its successful appearance in 2020, its basic, detailed and production design completed by HPWS independently. So far, the said type of feeder container vessel has won a total of 26 new shipbuilding contracts from 7 shipowners at home and abroad, which is deeply favored by shipowners.

The successful delivery the 'TS NAGOYA' marks the actual delivery of the 1900TEU feeder container vessel designed by HPWS independently, consolidating HPWS's position as a leader in the fields of research and development, design, and construction of feeders. Meanwhile, this is also the third feeder container vessel delivered by CSTC and HPWS to TS LINES, which further enhance the cooperation and friendship between the parties.
