CSTC delivered one 15000TEU container vessel to CMA CGM

On November 24th, 2021, CSTC and Hudong-Zhonghua, two subsidiaries of CSSC, successfully delivered a 15000TEU container vessel CMA CGM OSIRIS to CMA CGM. Guests from CMA CGM, ICBC Leasing, Hu dong-Zhanghua and other parties attended the naming and delivery ceremony in Shanghai.


CMA CGM OSIRIS is the third of five conventional propulsion 15,000 TEU container vessels ordered by CMA CGM, after delivery this vessel will be deployed on the route from Far East to Middle East. This project was signed on the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France,which is one of the important cooperation fruits between CMA CGM and CSSC.
CMA CGM OSIRIS, 366m in length, 51m in width, is developed and designed by Marine Design & Research Institute of China(MARIC).The localization rate of the production of the vessel has reached 90%,meeting the requirements of Tier III emission standards of IMO and the EEDI 3. It is a new generation of green, energy-saving and environmentally friendly container vessel.

In the long-term cooperation, CSTC has always been active in work, built an important communication bridge for the project, and provided a sound basis for the orderly promotion of the project. The efficient communication and cooperation between CSTC, the owner and the shipyard ensured the smooth delivery of the vessel.
