One 15000 TEU container vessel delivered to CMA CGM

On December 13^th, 2021, CSTC and Jiangnan Shipyard, two subsidiaries of CSSC, successfully delivered a 15000 TEU dual-fuel container vessel CMA CGM Kimberley to CMA CGM. Guests from CMA CGM, CMB Leasing, Jiangnan Shipyard，CSTC and other parties attended the naming and delivery ceremony in Shanghai.

Lin Qingshan, VP of Jiangnan Shipyard, Ludovic RENOU, CEO of CMA CGM China, and Liu Peng, VP of CMB leasing attended the naming ceremony and made a speech. Godmother Mrs. Daisy GAO, named the new vessel and cut the ribbon. Chen Weiping, VP of Jiangnan Shipyard, Hu Keyi, Chief of Corporate Technology of Jiangnan Shipyard, Lin Feng, VP of CSTC and other guests attended the ceremony.

CMA CGM Kimberley is the second of five LNG propulsion 15,000 TEU container vessels ordered by CMA CGM, after delivery this vessel will be deployed on the route from Far East to Mediterranean. This project was signed in the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, which is one of the important cooperation fruits between CMA CGM and CSSC. 

In the long-term cooperation, CSTC has always been active in work, has built an important communication bridge for the project, and has laid a solid foundation for the orderly promotion of the project. The efficient communication and cooperation between CSTC, the owner and the shipyard  ensured the smooth delivery of the vessel.
