CSTC successfully delivered a 37000 DWT asphalt tanker to KUMIAI

On December 14^th, CSTC and Chengxi Shipyard delivered one 37000 DWT asphalt tanker named “WHITE PEARL” to a regular customer – KUMIAI  SENPAKU CO., LTD based in Japan. Representatives of CSTC, Chengxi Shipyard and the ship owner signed the delivery documents respectively.

The length overall of the vessel is 179.9 meters, while the breadth moulded is 30.6 meters and the depth moulded is 16.8 meters. It was designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute       ( SDARI）and built in accordance with the rules and regulations of BV. In 2018, CSTC and Chengxi shipyard delivered one 37000 DWT ASPHALT TANKER named "STAR RIVER" to Kumiai. Its sound quality and excellent performance have been highly praised by the ship owner and charterers. The “WHITE PEARL” has been further optimized and upgraded on the basis of the previously delivered "STAR RIVER".

CSTC and Chengxi shipyard cooperated closely with the ship-owner during the construction and delivered the vessel orderly and smoothly. The successful delivery of the vessel further consolidated and deepened the cooperation and friendship between CSTC, Chengxi shipyard and KUMIAI, and further enhanced CSTC/Chengxi’s competitiveness in the asphalt tanker market.
