CSTC and DSIC Delivered one 308,000 DWT VLCC to LANDBRIDGE Group

Dalian  May 22, 2020，one 308,000 DWT VLCC named LANDBRIDGE WISDOM was successfully delivered to LANDBRIDGE GROUP jointly by China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (DSIC) on 22 May 2020 at Dalian, representatives from concerned parties attended the delivery ceremony and signed the protocol of delivery and acceptance of the ship.

LANDBRIDGE WISDOM, developed indigenously by DSIC, is a new generation of ship of high competitiveness, which is an energy-saving and environmental-friendly VLCC with non-restricted navigation area and endurance of over 25,000 NM, thistype is tailored for the LANDBRIDGE GROUP. The main features of the ship are as follows: the overall length is around 332.95 meters, the moulded width is 60 meters, the maximum load is 308,000 DWT, the ship is able to pass through the Strait of Malacca with 2 million barrels of crude oil  at the designed draft of 20.5 meters.

The LANDBRIDGE WISDOM highlights outstanding energy-saving features: the excellent  hull profile matching with higher energy efficient G type main engines and new type of big diameter high efficiency propellers, configured with high efficiency energy-saving combination devices in front of and after the propeller with independent intellectual property rights, which results in distinct and comprehensive energy saving effect of the ship.
