Information

CSTC & Dalian shipyard (DSIC), two subsidiaries of CSSC, recently secured an order for the construction of two 7100TEU container vessels from AL Maritime Holding (ALMH), a subsidiary of AL Group. The two vessels are in addition to the four 7100TEU container vessels already ordered by AL Group at DSIC.

The environmentally advanced vessels are designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute (SDARI), with LOA of 255 meters, width of 42.8 meters, depth of 24.6 meters, and draft of 12 meters. These new 7100TEU container vessels are being built at DSIC in accordance with the latest requirements of Tier III emission standard of the IMO and EEDI Phase III.

The history of AL Group can be traced back to 1857. After being taken over by the Bunnemann family and five generations of hard work, AL Group has gradually developed into one of Germany's long-established and highly reputable entity shipowners. Today, AL Group's fleet is jointly operated by its two subsidiaries, Asiatic Lloyd in Singapore and Atlantic Lloyd in Hamburg, Germany, managing more than 40 container ships, bulk carriers and oil tankers.

CSTC, DSIC, and ALMH will keep the win-win cooperation going and strengthen the relationship among all parties.
