Chen Honghui, Chairman of CU Lines, Ding Wei, Executive Vice President of CU Lines, Wang Qi, Chairman of SWS, Chen Gang, CEO of SWS, Wu Aijun, Vice President of CSTC and other guests attended the signing ceremony.

With LOA of 272.5m, width of 42.8m and draft of 15m, these two ships are designed by SDARI and meet the requirements of EEDI III and IMO Tier III. Equipped with AMP and scrubber, these two ships are efficient and environment-friendly.

Founded in 2005, with 20% of the shares held by Guangzhou Port, CU Lines is an international container liner company based in Shanghai. CU Lines has expanded rapidly in recent years and now runs over 30 container ships on many international lines.

CU Lines placed two orders within ten days, which fully reflects the trust and support of CU Lines to our company and CSSC’s shipyards. With the signing of the two 7,000 TEU container ships, SWS has maintained its position as the world's largest intermediate container shipbuilder. The corporation between CSTC/SWS and CU Lines contributes to the stability and smooth flow of China's export supply chain and shows the responsibility of local enterprises.
