On December 7th, 2021, CSTC and Hudong-Zhonghua Shipyard, two subsidiaries of CSSC, successfully signed three 174000 cbm LNG carriers with PetroChina International, CSLNG and CPSCO. Representatives of each parties attended the ceremony and signed the shipbuilding contracts.

This successful signing of this project shows again the great cooperation between the state-owned enterprises and reflects the good cooperation on the strategy implement and high-quality development of the national energy among oil company, shipping company, the shipbuilder, which continuously safeguards for the national energy security, and strives for the target of a low carbon dioxide future. 

The signing marks great cooperation between the state-owned enterprises in the LNG industry chain, and the implementation of high-quality development strategy. It will help to ensure the national energy security and promote green and low-carbon development of the shipbuilding industry.

This is another three new building LNG carriers after the first three vessels signed in June, 2020. The length overall of the vessel is 295 meters, the breadth is 45 meters, the depth is 26.25 meters, and service speed is 19.5 knots. The vessels will be equipped with the latest generation of XDF main engine and will have a better performance on the daily oil/gas consumption, satisfying the IMO’s strictest Emission requirements.

As the core LNGC shipbuilder under CSSC and the only big LNGC shipbuilder in China, Hudong-Zhonghua always keeps high product quality, delicacy management and design innovation to forge the CSSC brand in the global shipbuilding market.

PZM Takes Delivery of New Ship

On January 23, 2024 the environmentally advanced 37,000DWT vessel named ‘Polsteam Dabie’ was delivered by CSSC Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (DSIC) and China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) to the international bulker specialist Polska Żegluga Morska (PZM) at DSIC’s subsidiary yard, Shanhaiguan shipyard.

One more16,000 TEU containership delivered

China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (DSIC), both subsidiaries of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC), as co-sellers, delivered one 16,000 TEU container vessel to Minsheng Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (Minsheng Leasing) on October 30th. The new vessel is the first 16,000TEU container vessel and also the biggest container vessel for Minsheng Leasing and will be on a long-term bareboat charter to Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC).0
