CSTC&Jiangnan Delivered the Second 86,000 m³ VLGC to EXMAR

On 22nd September, China Shipbuilding Trading Co. Ltd.(CSTC) and Jiangnan Shipyard, both subsidiaries of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited.(CSSC), as the joint seller, successfully delivered the second 86000 m3 dual fuel Very Large Gas Carrier(VLGC) to EXMAR Company from Belgium.
The vessel is 230 meters long, with a width of 36.6 meters, a depth of 22.2 meters, and a scantling draft of 11.8 meters. She has four independent A-type liquid cargo tanks and one C-type fuel tank, with design temperature of - 52 degrees Celsius. She can carry propane, butane, propylene, butane, butadiene, dimethyl ether and other cargo.
The series of two vessels is the first-time cooperation between EXMAR and CSTC &Jiangnan Shipyard. This delivery marks the perfect ending of the project, and could strengthen the leading position of Jiangnan in design and construction of dual fuel VLGC.
