One 15000 TEU container vessel delivered to CMA CGM

On January 10^th 2022, CSTC and Jiangnan Shipyard，two subsidiaries of CSSC,  successfully delivered a 15,000 TEU container vessel “CMA CGM Everglade” to CMA CGM. Guests from CMA CGM, CMB Leasing, Jiangnan Shipyard and other parties attended the naming and delivery ceremony in Shanghai.

Huang wenfei, President of Jiangnan Shipyard, Ludovic RENOU, CEO of CMA CGM China, and Zhang Lianhuai, President of CMB leasing attended the naming ceremony and made a speech. Godmother Ms. Lola Li, named the new vessel and cut the ribbon. Chen Weiping and Lin Qingshan, Vice President of Jiangnan Shipyard, Lin Feng, Vice President of CSTC and other guests attended the naming ceremony.

“CMA CGM Everglade” is the third of five LNG propulsion 15,000 TEU container vessels ordered by CMA CGM. This project was signed on the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, which is one of the important cooperation fruits between CMA CGM and CSSC. 

The successful delivery of “CMA CGM Everglade” further improved Jiangnan Shipyard's market share in the large container vessel market. It aslo strengthens the friendship and relationship between CSTC, Jiangnan Shipyard, and CMA CGM.
