Naming ceremony of CMA CGM ADONIS held in ShangHai

On February 28, 2022, CSTC together with Hudong-Zhonghua, two subsidiaries of CSSC, successfully named one 15000 TEU container vessel CMA CGM ADONIS. Guests from CMA CGM, CMB Leasing, Hu dong-Zhonghua, CSTC and other parties attended the naming ceremony in Shanghai.

Chen Jun, President of Hudong-Zhonghua, Ludovic RENOU, CEO of CMA CGM China, Liu Peng, Vice President of CMB leasing attended the naming ceremony and made a speech. Godmother Mrs. Li PeiQing, named the new vessel and cut the ribbon. Chi BenBin, Vice President of Hudong Zhonghua, Hu Hongyu, Vice president of Changxing Shipbuilding, Lin Feng, Vice President of CSTC and other guests attended the ceremony.

With LOA of 366 meters, width of 51 meters, this series of vessels are designed by MARIC and  meet the requirements of Tier III and EEDI III, and are the new generation of energy-saving and environmentally friendly container vessel.

CMA CGM ADONIS is the last one of five conventional propulsion 15,000 TEU container vessels ordered by CMA CGM. The first of six LNG propulsion 13,000 TEU container vessels is about to undergo steel cutting, ordered by CMA CGM last year. CSTC, Hudong-Zhonghua, and CMA CGM will continue the beautiful story of win-win cooperation and strengthen the relationship between two groups.
